About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Digital and Communications Manager, this position requires someone who has a passion for making a difference, by producing multi-media materials to engage with our supporters and encourage donations.
Your primary responsibilities are to: plan, develop, design and create computer animation, audio and graphic image files into multi-media programs; to produce data and content for advertisements,, information kiosks, multi-media presentation, websites, mobile phone applications and entertainment and education materials.
ABOUT YOU
You will:

You will have knowledge of:
- Timing, motivation and continuity in video and multi-media production.
- Familiarity with special effects.
- 2D/3D computer graphics design, including interactive maps and animations.
- websites design and editing with CMS Craft.
- Website editing with a strong focus in multi-media cross device compatibility, especially for 360 VR videos.
- The Catholic Church and be comfortable in communicating to and with Catholic donors, Priests and Bishops.
You will have the following skills:
- Demonstrable video editing and media post production ability with a strong portfolio.
- Demonstrable video authoring ability with different online channels and television broadcast standard.
- Story telling capability.
- Demonstrable computer graphics and 2D/3D animation ability with a strong portfolio.
- Familiarity with all the operating systems: Windows, OS X, Linux, Unix, iOS and Android.
- High proficiency in: Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Final Cut Pro
- Solid experience with digital technology software: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Lightroom.
- Proficiency in: HTML editing.
- Solid Inter-personal and good communication skills (written and oral).
You will have the following experience:
- All multi-media sizes and formats including rich media
- You will be willing to embrace a flexible work schedule
- 3+ years of video and multi-media production experience for web, TV and radio.
- 1 year of experience in editing and publishing 360VR videos.
- 3+ years of experience of maintaining websites content, and multi-media players, plugins.
- Production of media for a Catholic audience.
