Tangentyere Council Aboriginal Corporation (TCAC) is a community controlled Public Benevolent Institution delivering human services and social enterprise activities for the benefit of Aboriginal people from the Alice Springs Town Camps, Urban Alice Springs and Central Australia.
In this newly created position of Community Centres, Assistant Manager, you will work directly with the Division Manager who is responsible for all activities undertaken by the Community Centres Division.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the team, coordinating complex projects that impact on strategic priorities and developing the suite of programs within the division to ensure the achievement of all strategic and operational results of the organisation.
You will work collaboratively with the Division Manager to ensure that important strategic relationships with key decision makers from relevant government and non-government organisations are developed and maintained, along with ensuring that all major contracts are negotiated at a senior level with relevant external stakeholders.
In addition, you will display proficient people management and communication skills, have an appetite for innovation, be a self-motivated leader and mentor who is accountable for their decisions. You will champion operational excellence, display a proficient business acumen and have a tertiary qualification in either Education, Business, Management or Community Services.
