We are currently seeking a Social Innovation Program Manager to bring an experienced, creative, and passionate approach to support the creation and activation of a social innovation consulting arm at CQUniversity.

In this role, you will scope, develop, deliver, and lead end-to-end social innovation projects and initiatives in conjunction with regional stakeholders and community partners. Ensuring CQUniversity remains at the forefront of changemaker education, you will successfully secure projects and initiatives in alignment with CQUniversity’s purpose and strategic priorities.

Position Requirements

  • Postgraduate qualifications or progress towards postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience; or extensive experience and management expertise in an administrative field; social/human services, development or business-related field or have an equivalent combination of experience and/or education/training. 
  • Understanding of and enthusiasm for, the social innovation, social enterprise or not-for-profit sector in Australia, including the ability to converse and write with clarity, conviction and competence on the issues and opportunities associated with the sector. 
  • Proven experience in project/program management, including the ability to plan, develop and deliver programs that socially innovative outcomes and learning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to consult, liaise, advise and negotiate with stakeholders and staff at all levels. 
  • The successful candidate may be required to work for periods of up to five days at other campuses around Australia.
