The Organisation
Based in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, very close to the CBD (with option to work from home up to two days per week) our client is a sector leading, innovative for purpose organisation.  Led by an inspiring and highly regarded CEO and Executive Team, the organisation is looking for an HR professional to establish the organisation as an employer of choice.
  
The Position
Reporting to the CEO, there are a number of exciting projects to undertake, including  the design, development and implementation of: 
  • the organisation’s workforce development strategy
  • a plan to support the delivery of a culturally safe service to First Nations people, and 
  • a Diversity & Inclusion plan (including Rainbow Tick accreditation)

You will also: 

  • lead and develop a team of HR professionals
  • provide organisational structure insight and support to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team, and  
  • oversee the management of all employee and industrial relations issues

The Person 

To be successful in this role you will be tertiary qualified in Human Resource Management  and have:
  • executive management experience in a similar role
  • strong commercial acumen and high-level leadership and management capabilities to effectively lead and influence the development of strategic action plans to support the goals of the organisation
  • proven ability to measure and assess team engagement, and develop creative and innovative strategies to foster a positive and productive hybrid working environment, and
  • demonstrated experience in identifying, developing and implementing innovative HR strategies to meet business needs

What’s on offer 

The opportunity to create meaningful change and contribute to the overall success of this community focussed organisation. On offer is a salary of $150K (plus superannuation) and attractive PBI/NFP salary packaging benefits. Flexible work options are available, with a requirement to be in the inner-city office at least 3 days per week. Also 6 additional leave days are gifted on top of the standard 4 weeks annual leave, along with a 17%  leave loading.
