About the role:
Our NDIS Support Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring they build exceptional relationship with internal and external stakeholders.  Days are varied our NDIS Support Coordinator must be able to effectively and efficiently navigate a complex landscape of service providers to create person centred outcomes for each NDIS Client. 
  
This is a permanent part time role based in Waitara NSW, with the ability to work at least 1 day per week from home and the other days in the office.
  
Duties:

  • Managing a portfolio of NDIS Participants and connecting them with appropriate services.
  • Supporting the participant through identifying and selecting providers, monitoring plans and plan expenditure.
  • Empower, coach and mentor participants and their representatives to manage own funding packaging.
  • Ensure key information has been documented and reported and planned reviews are scheduled and completed.
  • Service provisions are billed in a timely manner.
  • Audits show compliance with expected standards and requirements.

Essential Requirements

  • NDIS Workers Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence and access to an insured vehicle. 

Desired

  • Demonstrated understanding of the sector changes associated with the NDIS.
  • Understanding of the provision of services to people with a disability.
  • Cert IV in Community Services/ Disability or equivalent experience.
  • High level of interpersonal communication, including high level report writing skills, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
