As the Head of Development, Australia you play a crucial role in advancing The Life You Can Save’s mission to alleviate global poverty by leading the fundraising efforts across the country. The position calls for a highly capable and hands on fundraiser with a proven track record in major gifts and donor relations. You will be responsible for cultivating and stewarding relationships with high-net-worth donors, inspiring them to make transformational investments in support of our mission. Collaborating closely with the Co-CEOs and global development leaders, you will develop and implement strategies to achieve both annual and long-term fundraising goals, ensuring the sustainability and growth of the organisation’s impactful programs.
You will manage a portfolio of current and prospective donors, who have both the desire and the capacity to give. Your responsibilities will include designing and executing effective solicitation strategies, providing exceptional stewardship to major donors, and maintaining accurate donor records. Additionally, you will plan and execute special events to engage and inspire donors, and collaborate with the Board of Directors on fundraising strategy.
