With the announcement of the long-standing Chief Executive Officer’s (CEO) upcoming retirement, ADSSI invites applications for a new CEO to provide strategic leadership to the group.

About the role

The Role:

The CEO will spearhead the organisation, ensuring excellence in governance, strategic planning, and operational management. They will work closely with the Board of Directors, fulfilling governance obligations and driving strategic initiatives that align with ADSSI’s mission, vision and values. Their leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of innovation, resilience, and integrity within the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee governance processes, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory frameworks.
  • Lead strategic planning and execution to enhance service delivery and financial sustainability.
  • Advance organisational goals by engaging with all stakeholders, including government entities, other providers, community groups, and internal teams.
  • Champion ADSSI’s values, enhancing a workplace culture focused on safety, wellness, and client-centric service delivery.
  • Manage senior leadership teams and facilitate professional development across the organisation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration or related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • At least five years of leadership experience in a similar role. Aged Care experience is crucial. Evidence of significant previous financial responsibility
  • Must be based in the broader Central Coast/Hunter Region.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the legislative and regulatory landscape for community and disability services.
  • Demonstrated skills in strategic planning, business development and innovation, and team leadership.
  • Strong commitment to the principles of independence and community participation.
  • Valid Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and NSW Health immunisation requirements compliance.
