About the organisation

Organisation name : Mito Foundation

Mito Foundation supports people impacted by mitochondrial disease (mito), a debilitating condition that reduces the ability of the body’s cells to produce energy. Mito is an umbrella term, like ‘cancer’, and unfortunately there’s no cure yet.

Mito Foundation provides vital support services, advocates for systemic change, and drives research toward life-saving breakthroughs. The Bloody Long Walk is our 35km challenge national event series to raise funds and awareness for mito.
