The Digital Engagement Manager will lead the Digital Engagement team, with a focus on transforming the lives of PositiveMedia’s audience through meaningful and effective digital engagement.
Collaborating closely with the Listener Engagement, Donor Engagement and Sales teams, this role will be responsible for managing audience journeys and refining the digital strategy to ensure the right opportunities are presented to the audience to allow for deeper engagement with PositiveMedia’s content and services.
Reporting to the General Manager – Operations, you will coach and empower a small team to drive strategy, be successful and tackle challenging new tasks. This role will oversee PositiveMedia’s digital presence, SEO, SEM and content on websites, app, social media platforms, Google Ads and public digital listings to deliver a persuasive and cohesive message. You will implement and report on digital marketing campaigns, the off-air engagement strategy, social media posting plans, the website and its content.
Your strategic and innovative thinking will help evaluate and improve the competitive position PositiveMedia holds in the market and increase impact through effective digital engagement. This role will build and strengthen partnerships and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will lead by example, helping to shape the work and culture of PositiveMedia.
About YOU
- Extensive and demonstrable experience working in digital marketing that includes managing customer journeys, EDM campaigns, website and social media content, SEO and SEM,
- Experience leading and mentoring a team to inspire creativity, effectiveness, and high performance,
- Ability to create and implement targeted digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate,
- Solid knowledge of website analytic tools like Google Analytics and a working knowledge of ad servicing tools like Google Ads, including experience setting up and optimizing AdWords campaigns,
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills,
- You are creative, possess strong analytical skills, have data-driven and customer centric thinking, are up to date with the latest trends and best practices in digital engagement and measurement, and open-minded and agile in your approach to new ways of accomplishing tasks and projects,
- Degree in Marketing or a related field is an advantage, but not essential,
- Demonstrable adherence to Christian values and an alignment to PositiveMedia’s Mission and Values.
