About the role
Join us at Ripple Effect Foundation to help launch our inaugural Ripple Effect Wave Challenge. If you are looking to lend your skills to a meaningful cause with a lot of energy and passion we would love to hear from you.
Ripple Effect Wave Challenge
Ripple Effect Wave Challenge is happening Australia wide, in April 2025. The challenge will encourage surfers to register online via our platform and throughout the month of April log a minimum of 22 hours surfed, whilst raising funds for Ripple Effect Foundation through their networks. Our website will hold leaderboard for hours surfed and funds raised.
Surfers are able to join as an individual or in a team and we will be encouraging as much community involvement as possible. There will be prizes available throughout the challenge as either major prizes at the end for those who raise the most but also smaller prizes attached to fundraising and surfing goals and prizes attached to donations on specific days, dollar matching and anything. So far we have received great donations from some of the major surf brands including goodies bags and signed boards. This is where the committee comes in, we want to reach out far wide to let brands know about us and get them involved in whatever way we can. Whether that be donating prizes, dollar matching, become a tiered partner supporting the organisations operations or any other innovative ways you can think of that we can build involvement.
