Take the key leadership role of this iconic NFP which has provided a haven to Victorian cats in need for over 75 years, helping re-home abandoned and vulnerable cats through its adoption shelter and providing expert, compassionate care to privately owned cats through its cat-only Veterinary Clinic.
About the role
Reporting to the Board of The Cat Protection Society of Victoria, you will provide strong and effective leadership to a passionate and cohesive team, maintain the Society’s proud reputation and ensure high standards of cat welfare, while ensuring good corporate governance and sound financial management.
This appointment is vital to CPSV’s continuing success. You must therefore be a proactive leader who can build trust, ensure excellence in cat welfare, develop philanthropy and implement the strategic plan. A genuine commitment to animal welfare would be well regarded. The role is full-time but 0.8 is negotiable.
