The Organisation
Cultura emerged as the new organisation from the merger of Diversitat and Multicultural Aged Care Services (MACS) in 2022.
The organisation plays a significant role in the community through settlement services, youth and community programs, multicultural community events, community services and aged care (residential, in-home and centre-based) in the greater Geelong region.
Cultura have an ambitious intent to connect, inspire and embrace culturally diverse individuals throughout their life journey. The future will see the organisation continue to empower its 400 staff to provide a support network and a unified voice for multicultural communities in Greater Geelong.

The Cultura Chief Executive Officer plays the lead role in defining, building and enabling the organisation’s future and culture, with a focus on agility, innovation, high performance, and collaboration.
The Organisation’s purpose and values drive decision making, at all times ensuring the communities it serves are being given the best possible opportunities to thrive.
Reporting to the Board, the CEO will collaborate on and oversee the execution of the 2027 strategy, whilst building on the strong legacy for a sustainable and impactful vision for the future beyond. The role has strategic and operational accountabilities and will see the successful applicant immersed in all aspects of multicultural living.
The incoming CEO will demonstrate broad expertise across finance, compliance stakeholder management and leadership as well as many of the range of activities of the organisation, such as aged care, community development, settlement services or health. Presenting with a proactive leadership and community orientated style, the ideal candidate will demonstrate leadership experience in business transformation and integration. Understanding a highly regulated environment such as Aged Care and Community Services, the appointee will demonstrate credibility, sector knowledge and the ability to make an immediate impact. The appointee will possess a strong strategic mindset, well developed conceptual and analytical skills, and a strong record of achieving outcomes in partnership with a Board.
Presenting with highly effective interpersonal and influencing skills, the ability to build and lead high performing teams, develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders will be key to success in this position.
