About the Role:
As the Corporate Communications Manager, you will lead a small team and play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering effective communication strategies. The role requires strategic involvement in developing MCM’s employee communications strategy, end to end communications and marketing campaign management and external communications efforts to raise awareness of MCM and its entities.
This fixed term contract concludes December 2025 and will have a particular focus on internal communication strategy and execution to align employees with MCM Group’s purpose, enhance engagement, foster a positive culture, and support leadership in delivering key messages and events.
To a lesser extent, external Communications and Marketing campaign management will include identifying and developing, end-to-end integrated communications and marketing campaigns to support MCM Group entities to achieve their respective growth ambitions.
About You:
As an experienced Corporate Communications Manager, you will be passionate about supporting organisational outcomes, be solutions oriented, have a methodical approach and think outside the box. The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field with ideally 5+ years demonstrated experience in internal and external communications campaign management
- Proven expertise in experience in reputational issue management and crisis communication
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising creative and communications teams
- Proactive, innovative, and strategic thinker with strong project management abilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build effective relationships within with a collaborative and adaptable approach
- Strong analytical skills to assess communication effectiveness and employee sentiment
