- Co-ordinate and provide strategic oversight and operational management of programs, ensuring that outcomes are delivered on time and on budget
- Establish effective governance structures and systems for projects and ensure that all activities adhere to legislative and commonwealth government grant agreement requirements
- Identify and pursue opportunities to capitalise on synergies and create connections across programs.
- Generate detailed financial reports and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders
- Support project managers to develop plans and business cases to define objectives, timeframes, resourcing requirements, methodologies, expected benefits and evaluation plans
- Ensure that project risks are managed effectively and confer with stakeholders to identify and resolve any issues
- 10+ years’ experience in managing organisational-wide projects, ideally in the TAFE/VET sectors
- an advanced understanding of program and project management frameworks, methodologies and associated contractual and legislative requirements and guidelines
- strong analytical capability with the ability to analyse financial data, identify trends, and provide insights for decision-making.
- a tertiary degree in program and project management, or a related field (preferred).
