The Justice and Equity Centre (JEC) is a leading social justice law and policy centre. About the role

Your role is pivotal in developing and maintaining our strategic relationships including major donors. Your focus will include:
- Executing the fundraising strategy including monitoring, reviewing and revising for future years
- Developing, implementing and executing the donor stewardship plan
- Engaging with Executive leadership and Board members to lead donor stewardship
- Engaging and growing relationships with major donors
- Converting long term funders to untied, multi-year funding
- Implementing a bequest program
- Overseeing key fundraising activities that include events, appeals, trusts and foundations and corporate sponsors
- Managing and supporting the fundraising team by providing clear direction and development opportunities
Ideally, you have a track record in the for-purpose sector and demonstrated experience in:
- Major donor acquisition and stewardship
- Building and maintaining donor relationships
- Successfully executing strategic plans
