About the role
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule bi-monthly board meetings (held after hours on the Central Coast)
- Support onboarding of new board members and uphold the Board’s Code of Conduct
- Maintain the register of interests and track director terms
- Record accurate minutes and manage the approval process
- Organise and securely store board records and documentation
- Ensure compliance with ACNC and ATO governance standards
- Provide guidance on not-for-profit governance practices and policies
About You
- Excellent organisational and written communication skills
- Previous experience in board governance or secretarial roles (experience in NFP sector desirable)
- Strong alignment with the mission to support families affected by domestic and family violence
- A willingness to serve with professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to confidentiality and good governance
