Join our client, a feminist organisation supporting victims of domestic violence as a Manager, Research Implementation and Social Impact, and help shape the future of our services for women in our community.
About the Role
As the Manager, Research Implementation and Social Impact, you will play a pivotal role in integrating research and best practices into programs supporting women who have experience domestic violence, evaluating their effectiveness, and ensuring meaningful, data-driven improvements. You will collaborate with the internal program and lived experience team, and external evaluation partners to build a strong framework for knowledge translation and impact measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate research and best practices into actionable strategies.
- Develop and implement evaluation frameworks, performance metrics, and data collection methods to assess program effectiveness.
- Communicate program outcomes, successes, and challenges to internal and external stakeholders.
- Build relationships with researchers, policymakers, and practitioners to ensure knowledge is effectively applied.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities for improvement and proactively implement solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
Essential Criteria:
- Qualifications in health, monitoring and evaluation, impact assessment, or a related field.
- Proven experience in research, knowledge translation, and program implementation within the NFP sector.
- Expertise in designing and implementing evaluation frameworks and using data for program improvement.
- Strong leadership and management experience.
- High-level communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.
- Commitment to feminist and social justice principles
Desirable:
- Experience in the not-for-profit sector.
- Experience working in domestic and family violence.
- Fluency in a language other than English.
- Experience working with diverse communities, including LGBTIQA+, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, people with disabilities, and those from multicultural backgrounds.
