Why This Role Matters

As our Therapeutic Casework Coordinator, you’ll lead a passionate multi-disciplinary team delivering Permanency Support Program (PSP) casework across Liverpool, Wagga Wagga, Queanbeyan, and Blacktown. This is your chance to drive best practice, build culturally safe services, and champion positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor PSP Case Managers across multiple sites, ensuring best-practice, trauma-informed care.
  • Champion culturally responsive support for Aboriginal and diverse communities.
  • Collaborate with Aboriginal Community-Controlled Organisations (ACCOs), government agencies, and local services.
  • Provide clinical supervision, reflective practice, training, and performance development for frontline staff.
  • Oversee operational matters including recruitment, onboarding, and workflow coordination.
  • Regularly travel to regional sites and contribute to after-hours on-call support.

What You’ll Bring

  • A relevant degree in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services, or a related field.
  • 3-5+ years’ experience in PSP, statutory out-of-home care, or child protection.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and coaching casework teams.
  • Deep understanding of trauma-informed models and cultural safety frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge of NSW Child Protection legislation, permanency planning, and safeguarding.
  • High-level communication, stakeholder engagement, and decision-making skills.
