Your impact
The Corporate Services program Area at Foundation House ensure the best people, resources, systems, processes, infrastructure, organisational structure and culture are in place to achieve success.
The IT team comprises a total of three staff plus contracted strategic and technical advice from our Technology Partner/Managed Service Provider. The team comprises the IT Manager, IT Support Officer and IT Technical & User Support Officer.
The role
Reporting to the IT Manager you will provide a high level of customer focused support to staff on the use of IT systems. This is an ongoing, part time 3 day per week position based at our Head office location in Brunswick.
Key responsibilities include:
- First point of contact in managing the helpdesk to ensure queries are resolved promptly and escalate where appropriate
- Deliver prompt and professional training and support to staff, including new user inductions
- Assist with the maintenance of IT and communication systems including network equipment and cabling, servers, desktop and peripheral equipment and software utilities and applications
- Maintain the IT asset/equipment register
- New equipment set up and configuration including laptops and mobile phones.
What you’ll need to successfully apply
To be successful, you will need to positively respond to the below selection criteria:
- Formal IT Qualifications highly regarded but not essential if able to demonstrate high level skills, expertise and prior experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical in approach, with the ability to problem solve
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work autonomously.
High level of familiarity with the following:
- Microsoft Windows operating systems
- Microsoft Office (Microsoft 365) suite of products
- Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) user and group management.
Working knowledge of the following:
- Microsoft 365 and Exchange management
- Network technology, LAN, WAN and Internet
- Other software platforms, including Adobe suite, Zoom, Canva
- Android and IOS.
