Established in 2009 in Melbourne, Australia, Satellite Foundation is an accessible, caring not-for-profit organisation that connects and empowers young people who have a family member living with mental health challenges. This may also include young people in families experiencing challenges with substance use, family conflict or violence, complex trauma, or other adverse life circumstances.
About the role
As we approach a significant transition with the upcoming retirement of our esteemed CEO and co-founder, Rose Cuff, at the end of 2025, we are seeking a visionary leader to guide our organisation into its next chapter. This is a pivotal moment for Satellite Foundation, and we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to empowering young people and can lead with compassion, innovation, and strategic foresight.
The CEO will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Satellite Foundation, ensuring the delivery of our strategic objectives, and maintaining a culture that reflects our values. This includes overseeing program development, fostering stakeholder relationships, ensuring financial sustainability, and leading a dedicated team.
We are looking for someone who listens to, learns from, works with and advocates for young people. You lead with vision and purpose, inspiring others to contribute to a shared direction. With deep knowledge of the youth mental health sector in Victoria, you can demonstrate experience in developing and delivering organisational strategy and have an excellent track record of engaging and inspiring diverse stakeholders.
