About the team

The Homelessness and Family Violence Services team provides holistic case management to individuals and families across the Sydney region who are at risk of or experiencing homelessness and/ or domestic and family violence. Through strong partnerships with local agencies, the team works to support victim survivors of violence to increase safety and wellbeing for them and their children, to stabilise tenancies and connect clients with safe, affordable, and sustainable housing solutions, build personal resources and facilitate recovery from the impacts and sequalae of violence, homelessness and other forms of oppression and disadvantage.

About this opportunity

As Homelessness Services Manager, you’ll lead a dynamic team to deliver high-quality, contract-compliant services while driving strategic and operational outcomes aligned with the YeS 2026 strategy.

  • Lead impactful homelessness and family violence services aligned with intersectional feminist values and strategic goals
  • Drive service innovation, practice development and continuous improvement
  • Build strong partnerships and represent YWCA in sector forums
  • Empower teams through inclusive leadership and development
  • Oversee data, budgets, and reporting to ensure accountability and excellence

About You

Your experience may include:

  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience in program leadership within social services
  • Proven ability to lead, develop, and empower teams
  • Strong background in homelessness, family violence and/ or housing support program delivery
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confident in driving change and continuous improvement across service models
