Workways is a dynamic, not-for-profit charitable employment and community services organisation operating in regional and remote areas in ACT, NSW, VIC & QLD and is undergoing significant growth and diversification. With its Head Office located in Bairnsdale, this role offers exciting work together with regional living.

As Chief Financial Officer (CFO) you will be jointly responsible for all financial and economic management aspects of our organisations operations and provide both operational and financial system support to the organisation.

As a key member of the executive management team, reporting directly to the CEO you will manage the organisation from a financial perspective, the responsibility for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities of the organisation including accounting, taxation, finance, forecasting, strategic planning, job costing, legal, deal analysis and negotiations, sponsor relationships, private financing, and organisational compliance.

• Lead and develop direct reports and coordinate financial programs and capital assets

• Perform fiscal governance in accordance with the requirements of the Act

As the new CFO your Degree in Business or Commerce and CPA / CA or equivalent qualifications is a bare minimum as is your extensive experience managing medium to large organisation and police clearance, bankruptcy checks etc. will be required.
