Opportunity:
3Bridges is seeking 3 Non-Executive Directors to join our Board. Non Executive Directors are currently voluntary roles. Board and Committee meetings are held at our offices in the St George area. A commitment of approximately 4 hours monthly is required as a Board member to attend meetings. As a member of a Board Committee, an additional 4 hours bi-monthly is required. Preparation time is up to 1 day per month. There is the expectation that Board members will have a strong professional network that they will utilise to support the achievement of 3Bridge’s vision and that they will attend at public functions from time to time.
A genuine interest to contribute to the community services sector is essential.
In addition to the specific experience and qualifications outlined, membership of Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) is highly regarded.
Director (1) will be a practising qualified accountant and will be a key member of the Finance and Risk Committee.
Director (2) will have strong financial investment, risk assessment and analytic skills. The Director will also be a member of the Finance and Risk Committee (FRC).
Both will have experience at Board level and have been involved in the development and monitoring of financial strategies and a risk frameworks, especially with respect to financial risk and investment plans. We are looking for people with strong commercial skills and experience in business growth, strong financial credentials and high level corporate governance, coupled with current knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements.
Director (3) is likely to have experience as either a senior executive or a company director in a for profit organisation and have had prior roles in areas such marketing and corporate social responsibility. We are looking for someone who has solid experience in brand development and marketing.
