Role

Due to internal movement in Variety’s corporate partnerships program, they require a full time Corporate Partnership Manager to generate revenue, create sustainable growth and account manage state based and national relationships.  This role is responsible for developing and leading Variety’s high level strategic approach to partnerships, ensuring that these relationships are explored to their full potential. Managing a large portfolio of partners you will work closely with their internal team and the Variety team to deliver high quality sponsorship opportunities, workplace giving, partnered events and branded campaigns.   
 
The role of Corporate Partnership Manager reports to the Head of Fundraising and is responsible for mentoring and managing two corporate partnerships executives.  This opportunity is ideal for an exceptional individual with demonstrated experience in building and managing financially strong and mutually beneficial relationships with well recognised brands and organisations. 
 
Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead Variety’s strategic approach to corporate partnerships.
  • Build new business, partnerships and relationships with current and prospective corporates – via phone, email and face to face
  • Develop, manage, track  and exceed income targets
  • Carry overall responsibility for all Variety’s corporate partnerships, maximising  fundraising opportunities, building long term, mutually beneficial relationships
  • Sculpt proposal documents and present to large groups both to sell and communicate Variety’s role in the community
  • Grants, Sponsorship of current events, Partnered events and Cause Related Marketing campaigns
  • Communicate and negotiate with clients at varying levels of authority within local and national corporates

 

Your Skills & Attributes

  • Ideally extensive experience managing a multi-million dollar corporate partnership program for a leading charity or a large brand in a commercial environment.
  • Demonstrated success and achievements growing and maintaining solution based sales relationships with large corporates or national recognised brands.
  • Extremely passionate about delivering the highest quality of service to clients and representing a brand to the best of your ability.
  • Confident with excellent strategic research, pitch and presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Must be target driven with a passion for sales and achieving growth targets
  • Exceptional time management skills with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Highly professional and articulate, with a genuine passion for the organisation
  • Energetic, outcome focussed and resilient with excellent team management skills
  • A full driver’s license is preferred due to the nature of the role
