BUILDING on from the great success of our first fundraiser :-
“WE ARE BUILDING A GARDEN WALL…BRICK BY BRICK”
We are doing it again for Nawroz (or Afghan New Year)!
Mahboba’s Promise ‘Garden Wall’ project, situated in Parwan Province, is in its final completion and we now need to BUILD a WELL and prepare the soil as spring approaches.
In the Afghan spring we will see many seeds and trees planted. Come summer there will be extra food to share with the local communities. Those who are not directly sponsored under the Mahboba’s Promise program will at least be able to receive fresh food for their families.
ONE PEOPLE and the OPEN HEART PROJECT are collaborating to create “GATHERINGS with PURPOSE”, bringing Sydneysiders together from different faith and cultural backgrounds to enjoy conversation, food and music while fundraising the the Edible Garden .
QWALLI MUSICIANS from Sahaja Yoga will play on the night and we have special guests yet to be announced.
