THE ROLE

We are seeking a team focused Manager to join our Leadership Team. Your commitment will be to ensure a homelike and supported environment by providing care with compassion, respect and dignity.

The role will be responsible for the overall management of Yallambee Lodge with areas of responsibility including all clinical and other regulatory compliance, staff management, financial management, occupancy levels and ACFI elements to support the needs of our residents. Implementing continuous quality improvement throughout the facility by leading and driving change to achieve desired outcomes are essential expectations.  You will be supported by and be collaborating with members of the Leadership Team as well as a varied range of aged care health professionals.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY AND COMPETENCIES

The ideal candidate will bring:

  • Strong financial stewardship and business performance competencies with demonstrated industry knowledge and management experience with emphasis on budget control, business performance to benchmarks in relation to ACFI and occupancy,
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal/communications skills and mentoring qualities with a demonstrated ability in change management to lead staff in achieving organisational goals and objectives within a team environment.
  • Knowledge and understanding and experience of administrative processes, quality and continuous improvement systems and legislative requirements in human resource management and WH&S.
  • An in depth knowledge of the Australian Aged Care system.
  • Demonstrated clinical experience in care planning, clinical documentation, accreditation management and associated compliance as well as other regulatory requirements.
  • A sound nursing background at a senior management level with a passion to deliver exemplary clinical practice and customer service at all levels.
  • A high level of computer literacy
  • Current nursing registration with APHRA
