Program Coordinator, Disability Services

• Coordinate and lead programs with a strong client focus
• 40hr week – RDO per month
• Based in Rockdale servicing the greater Sydney area

LWB works with clients from diverse social and cultural backgrounds and experiences and seek to employ people who reflect this diversity to ensure we meet individual’s needs.

The Role

This position is responsible for managing, leading and developing teams providing a high-level person-centred approach to service users in a residential setting. You will be responsible for:

• Liaising, negotiating and communicating with families, carers and other stakeholders
• Attending stakeholder meetings including government agencies and community partners
• Monitoring the coordination and development of service user individual plans
• Coordinating and/or overseeing rostering requirements
• Providing after hours on call support to teams
• Overseeing the recruitment, induction and orientation of new staff

Selection Criteria

You have relevant qualifications and experience in managing multiple services within a community sector environment. You have also developed:

• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of the NDIS and how it can be implemented
• A positive practice approach within a supported accommodation environment
• Experience with budgeting and managing multiple rosters
• An ability to network with government and other relevant stakeholders
• Relevant probity checks, first aid certificate (or willingness to obtain) and NSW driver’s licence are also mandatory requirements for this role.
