About the role
Tandem is the Victorian peak body representing carers’ of people with experience of a mental illness/emotional distress.
This role will support the delivery of initiatives to support both carers’ and the person they care for trasition to the NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) The project officer will have responsibility for supporting and managing NDIS Readiness Networks and community partnerships across roll-out sites. In addition to assisting with Tandems systemic advocacy function in relation to the NDIS roll out.
This position also supports Tandems role in influencing public policy, undertaking projects, and providing information to Mental Health service providers to uphold the rights, well-being and interests of people living with or caring for a person with a mental illness including psychosocial disability.
