Strategic Partnerships & Projects Manager
0.6 FTE 2 year Management Contract based in the city fringe
(possibility of increase to full-time for the right candidate)
Are you passionate about making a difference in the community by utilising your expertise to develop new and grow existing partnerships and fundraising? Would you enjoy being part of an energetic & friendly team in an innovative and rapidly growing independent not-for-profit organisation?
You will play a crucial role in resource development projects including ensuring the effective delivery of Junction Australia’s fundraising strategy which is focused upon fostering corporate partnerships and other targeted fundraising initiatives. You will be responsible for managing:
• existing partnerships and resource development programs
• developing pitches
• identification of potential corporate and philanthropic partners
• prospecting for leads
• securing new long-term fruitful partnerships
You will also be responsible for working with the CEO, Leadership Team and Senior Managers to identify and mobilise new resources via participation in the development of innovative service development projects including the preparation of submissions to philanthropic trusts and foundations. Note: Depending upon the knowledge, skills and experience of the successful candidate, the scope of the role may be expanded from 0.6 FTE up to 1.0 FTE to include participation in other organisational development projects.
We are looking for:
• Demonstrated skills in partnership development and relationship management
• Skill at sourcing, identifying and developing relationships both internally and externally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
