Adolescent Support Program/Finding Solutions Case Manager (ASP/FS)

The Adolescent Support/Finding Solutions Programs provide alternative strategies for adolescents (aged 10-17) and their families, preventing the adoption of the mainstream response provided by Child Protection Services.

Responsibilities include:
• Provide practical assistance and support to adolescents and their families, within a Case Management framework, that diverts and prevents the need for more intrusive Protective Services involvement.
• Facilitate family reconciliation through the use of family focused intervention strategies such as mediation, in an effort to ensure the adolescent remains at, or returns to, home.
• Assist adolescents and their families to build positive relationships, where their own strengths are used to improve the functioning of their family unit.

To be successful you will have a relevant tertiary qualification such as Social Work, Welfare, Behavioural Science or Social Science.
