Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager you will be a key member of the Marketing and Fundraising team contributing to the achievement of the Society’s objectives through graphic design and digital marketing. This is an opportunity to use your graphic design expertise to strengthen our brand presence in market, through the creation of high quality marketing collateral and integrated communications campaigns.

In this role you will provide graphic design support and help to develop a consistent brand identity across all internal and external streams of communication. You will also manage a range of digital marketing initiatives. We are looking for someone who can work confidently and autonomously to be a creative custodian for our brand.


Key accountabilities include:

• Producing multi-purpose marketing collateral for use in fundraising, marketing and events.

• Creating and maintaining engaging content across the Society’s social media channels and online communities.

• Providing expert feedback on digital marketing activities, including the creation of considered user journeys and customer acquisition online.

• Analysing and translating data into recommendations and plans for revising social media campaigns to facilitate engagement and growth of online communities.

• Developing and designing high quality marketing materials for use online for upcoming activities, events and campaigns.

You are a proactive “hands on” team player who thrives on delivering outstanding work and contributing to a positive team culture. Regarded as having exceptional graphic design skills and extensive knowledge and experience with digital marketing strategies, you will actively engage with our key audiences to design and guide campaigns for optimal impact.


More specifically you will have:

• A Bachelor degree in graphic design, communications, marketing, arts or related area.

• Proven ability to develop and execute digital communication strategies which advance organisational goals online.

• Proven ability to develop high quality print based marketing collateral.

• Experience developing high-quality and engaging content across multiple platforms including web, social media and email direct marketing.

• Experience developing and managing content across multiple social media channels and a capacity to tailor content for these platforms.

• Demonstrated creativity and documented immersion across key social media channels.

• Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

• A creative flair with an ability to conceptualise ideas and make recommendations

• Knowledge and experience in online marketing, fundraising or a similar field.

• Experience in implementation of Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram campaigns and campaign reporting.

• Experience in the use of EDM software and EDM campaign execution.

• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.

• Experience with search engine optimisation, Google AdWords and Google Analytics.
