About the role

As a Case Manager (Level 3), your key responsibility is to deliver Mission Australia case management services to young people under Department of Education & Child Development (DECD) guidelines.  You will play a key role in assisting referred students who are facing multiple issues/barriers to successful school engagement, positive learning outcomes and employment.

Duties

• Undertake detailed assessments to support desired client educational, training and /or employment outcomes
• Deliver quality individually tailored case management services and activities  to your caseload
• Build strong relationships with all stakeholders whilst actively advocating for our young people services
• Maintain accurate, up-to date and compliant case records at all times, completing all report as required
• Participate and contribute to your wider southern Adelaide and all Mission Australia SA teams

Qualifications & experience

• Cert IV in Youth Work / Youth Justice or higher as minimum qualifications essential
• Proven history of working with young people with high and complex needs
• Successful experience in providing services to young people at risk, both individually and in groups
• Senior Frist Aid Certificate an advantage
• A Current Driver’s License – essential
• A strong alignment to Mission Australia’s purpose and values

As part of our employment screening process you will be required to undertake a National Criminal History check as well as a complete a current G’vt of SA DCSI Working with Children clearance.
