The Epilepsy Foundation provides support for people living with epilepsy and their families to help them live better lives as defined by them.
Our services include information, advice and support, case management, tools to assist self-advocacy and practical assistance as well as education and training. Our activities include social and psychological research into the impact of living with epilepsy.
We work to raise awareness of epilepsy in organisations and in the broader community to reduce stigma and create a more welcoming and inclusive society.
Role
The Fundraising & Events Manager is responsible for the fundraising, marketing, sponsorship, media and communications strategies to increase awareness and funds for the Epilepsy Foundation’s signature fundraising events. The role will ensure smooth implementation and marketing of signature Fundraising Events, ensuring sales, marketing and fundraising strategies are all implemented to raise funds for the Epilepsy Foundation.
The role will therefore oversee the marketing, fundraising, sales, sponsorship and brand management elements of signature fundraising events to ensure the organisation’s interests are well managed and budgeted income and profit figures are achieved. The role will work with the Head of Fundraising to ensure all elements of the events are co-ordinated. The role will also be responsible for the evaluation, recommendations and implementation of major fundraising event opportunities to be managed and run by the Fundraising Department.
