This is an exciting time for ADF. Through raising public awareness and increasing the scope of their programs and services they are building local community capacity to reduce alcohol and other drug harms and influence policy change that puts the needs of community first.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Marketing and Engagement, the Communications Manager is a newly created position responsible for providing internal and external communications planning and content development across the organisation but focusing on the rollout of a major, new, national project.
Specifically you will;
- Plan and develop detailed strategies that raise the profile of specific ADF Programs
- Lead the coordination and development of original written content to support programs, digital engagement and collateral
- Project manage the communications piece around one of ADF’s key projects
- Represent ADF on Steering Groups and develop relationships with key stakeholders
- Lead and manage a small team
Skills Required
This role is suited to a Communications Manager with good leadership experience and the proven ability to lead strategy through to implementation including; project management, stakeholder relations, program collateral, internal and change communications, brand management and content development.
You will have strong experience managing communications projects in complex environments such as public health and/or government sectors where you have had to influence, engage and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
