About the role

An exciting full-time opportunity exists to join the nation’s leading international volunteer sending agency AVI- a valuable contributor to the sustainable development of a wide range of communities.

We are currently recruiting for Coordinator, AVID Reporting and M&E. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time, maximum-term contract until 31st December 2017.

Reporting to the Program Quality and Impact Manager, this position would be responsible for AVI’s monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and reporting obligations and contributions as an Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) core partner.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience (eg. professional writing, international development/international relations/monitoring and evaluation (M&E))
  • Strong cross cultural awareness and understanding of international development issues
  • Experience in supporting contracted projects and programs, particularly in an international or community development context
  • Experience in donor relationship management, M&E and reporting, particularly with government entities
