Fundraising Manager

We are seeking an experienced and passionate person to join our team to increase our revenue streams to support State Emergency Service Volunteers. Critical tasks in this role will include:

• Developing, implementing and managing effective commercial and fundraising activities to support organisational growth.
• Developing relationships with high net worth individuals to support organisational growth.
• Identifying, securing, managing and growing corporate partnerships that align with the values of the NSW SES Volunteers Association.
• Identifying and securing grants.
• Increasing commercial and fundraising income streams.
• Developing, implementing and managing activities to deliver a workplace giving program.
• Managing and growing annual appeals revenue.

To be successful in this role you will need the following attributes:

• A strong track record of building, implementing and managing successful commercial and fundraising strategies.
• Experience in negotiating and developing corporate sponsorship.
• Current motor vehicle licence.
• Enthusiasm and a “can do” attitude and an ability to work in a not-for-profit environment.
• Knowledge and passion for the work of the NSW SES Volunteers Association.
• A team player and the ability to work autonomously when required.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and experience in presenting new business pitches to clients.
• Highly competent computer skills in the Microsoft suite of office application.
• Ability to meet documented key performance indicators within specified timeframes.
• At least five years’ experience in a similar position.

This position is a temporary position for 12 months with the possibility of extension.
