Occupational Therapy Australia is seeking an experienced and innovative Marketing Manager to join its National team based in Fitzroy.

Occupational Therapy Australia (OTA) is the peak body representing occupational therapists in Australia, with 5000+ members nationally. OTA provides member services encompassing the full range of Association activities, including support of communities of occupational therapy practice, interest groups and regional groups, professional practice support, lobbying and advocacy around issues affecting the profession and timely provision of information to members through publications and electronic media.
About the role
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role is based in our Fitzroy head office with flexible working hours and days. It is responsible for the strategic marketing and communications function and is tasked with growing market presence of the Occupational Therapy Australia ‘brand’ and the occupational therapy profession. The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and coordinating campaigns and material to support and promote the national Association, the states and the various products, services and benefits attached to the membership. The Marketing Manager reports to the National Manager: Operations and Membership and will be instrumental in uplifting the Association’s profile to its members, the general public and relevant government agencies.
ABOUT YOU
This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated and strategic thinking individual with hands on experience and tertiary qualifications in marketing/communications to join our national team. You will have a minimum of 3 years practical marketing experience, preferably in the not-for-profit or professional services sectors. Your strong track record of developing marketing and communication strategies; segmented marketing campaigns; assessing campaign effectiveness across all channels; your experience in multi-channel coordination and your experience in copy writing and editing will ensure your success in this role. This position offers a salary of circa $80K (pro rata), plus 9.5% employer superannuation contribution, depending on qualifications and experience.
