About the organisation
About the role
ShelterBox Australia is an affiliate of ShelterBox, an international disaster relief charity that provides emergency shelter and vital supplies to support communities around the world overwhelmed by disaster and humanitarian crisis. The main function of ShelterBox Australia is to undertake fundraising activities and promote brand awareness nationally – this is largely done though a network of 100+ Volunteer “Ambassadors”.
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to drive and develop our volunteer ‘Ambassador’ program. Our Ambassadors are the public face of ShelterBox Australia, charged with promoting the ShelterBox mission to Rotary Clubs, schools and the general public.
The Ambassador Coordinator will work both independently, and with the input/direction of the CEO, to oversee all aspects of the volunteer Ambassador program. The role will be responsible for the daily management of current Ambassadors whilst planning for and executing growth and retention initiatives for the program. The role will take responsibility for the effective facilitation and delivery of training programs and other related activities.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an organisation with ambitions to become the world leader in emergency shelter provision. Please see the attached role description for details and address the requirements in your covering letter.
