• $77,000 – $79,500 p.a., classified at SCHCADS Award Level 6 (YACVic pays above award rates).
• 12 month, fixed-term contract, with potential to be ongoing, subject to funding Based in Melbourne CBD, with regular metropolitan and regional travel.

Skillfully navigating the Victorian education and youth sectors, the VicSRC Executive Officer’s primary focus is to work in partnership with the VicSRC Student Executive. You will develop and implement the 2017 – 2020 VicSRC strategic plan and capitalise on the Victorian Government’s commitment to student voice.

About the role
The VicSRC Executive Officer is accountable and reports to the Student Executive team. Executive meetings are held monthly on a Saturday afternoon. To execute the work of the Executive, the VicSRC Executive Officer leads a small and dedicated staff team that works with and on behalf of school-aged students to advocate for student voice and policy priority areas identified by students and empower, facilitate and co-ordinate action by students. It is the job of the VicSRC Executive Officer to ensure students are front and centre of everything we do.
