About the role
An exciting opportunity is available for an Online Community Moderator to join our Operations team in a part time capacity (multiple roles available).
Reporting to the Frontline Workforce Manager, this position will primarily be responsible for the moderation and community building of our Services’ Facebook pages and forums. The position will monitor for clinical and reputational risk, and escalate any issues to the Centre Supervisor on shift. The position will also provide administrative and project support to the Operations team with high-quality wrap around support, and will have access to our high quality training programs.
Selection Criteria
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
– Previous experience working in a similar role – social media/forum moderation experience highly desirable
– Awareness of mental health and social issues
– Experience or training in the mental health sector is highly desirable
– Strong administration skills
– Competency in working with a range of computer applications including Word, Excel, Hootsuite
– Excellent communication and writing skills
– Willingness to apply for a National Police Records Check
– Working with Children Check for Employment purposes (or willing to apply for one)
