The Division of Global Strategy and Engagement serves to support JCU’s strategic ambition through its marketing, international and engagement activities. The Division seeks a new Director, Advancement, who will develop and execute a comprehensive advancement strategy to increase income to the University from a range of philanthropic and donor sources, leveraging the University’s positioning as a global leader in the tropics. As the public face of Advancement both internally and externally, the Director will develop a sustainable culture and increased involvement in fundraising activity, based on a strong vision and sense of purpose, across the University.
You will demonstrate a proven track record of leading successful fundraising programs, preferably within the Higher Education sector. As a strategic and visionary leader, you will possess the necessary communication and interpersonal skills to both persuade and inspire a variety of stakeholders internally and externally. Your experience in embedding a high-performance culture will ensure success in the role.
