About the role

Ref 812/17 Education & Outreach Officer, Whitlam Institute

Parramatta Campus
Part-Time (.6 FTE), Fixed Term for 2 years

We have a great opportunity for a skilled and motivated Education and Outreach Officer to join our small team at an exciting time in the development of the Institute and its public program in the Female Orphan School. We’re looking for a confident and experienced educator or facilitator who relates well to kids and diverse communities, who has a collaborative approach to teaching and learning, and who has a strong social justice ethic. Experience in teaching civics concepts and an interest in politics and history would also be very favourable attributes. The Education and Outreach Officer will have high level personal, verbal and written communication skills, experience in designing and delivering education programs, and an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people and interests.
