About the organisation
The Australian Paralympic Committee (APC) is responsible for the preparation, selection, management and participation of the Australian Paralympic Team at both the Summer and Winter Paralympic Games and other nominated international events. The APC also endeavours to support Australians with disabilities to participate in sport at all levels, partnering with National Sporting Organisations, National Sporting Organisations for the Disabled, the Australian Sports Commission (ASC) and other relevant organisations.
About the role
The Senior Fundraising Executive is a crucial member of the APC Commercial & Marketing Department and is responsible for both traditional fundraising activities as well as new, innovative initiatives.
Reporting into the General Manager – Commercial and Marketing, the Fundraising Executive will develop an annual Fundraising Operational Plan in response to the organisation’s Fundraising Strategy (and overarching Commercial & Marketing Strategy). The primary purpose of the role is to deliver a strong net return across all fundraising campaigns.
To be successful in this role, you will:
Grow Corporate, Community & High Value Giving revenue
Develop and execute a fundraising plan across multi-channels including Regular Giving, Direct Response, Community Events, Workplace Giving, Online Fundraising, Corporate & Foundation Grants, Corporate Events, High Value Giving etc.
Manage relationships with donors to maximise retention and with key suppliers to maximise net return
Manage policies, systems and processes within the Fundraising division to ensure efficiencies and effectiveness
Monitor the fundraising marketplace for shifts in corporate engagement as well as community giving and work with General Manager – Commercial & Marketing to revise Fundraising Strategy accordingly
Manage all fundraising resources including online platforms, e.g. Salesforce, Mail Chimp etc.
Measure success against objectives, target revenue and KPIs
