About the organisation
Intereach works together with children, families, older people, carers and people with disabilities to provide services, support and information throughout the Riverina Murray region of NSW.
About the role
• Consolidate the unprecedented growth
• Continue to drive a person centred, service culture
• Play a lead role in determining the strategic future of the organisation
Intereach works together with children, families, older people, carers and people with disabilities to provide services, support and information throughout the Riverina Murray region of NSW. Over the past five years the organisation has experienced unprecedented growth, with a doubling of the organisation’s size. Contributing to this growth is Intereach’s success in partnering with the National Disability Insurance Agency in the delivery of Local Area Co-ordination Services in the Loddon Region of Victoria and in Murrumbidgee, NSW. The outgoing CEO has been instrumental in this growth and the Intereach Board are now in search of a new CEO who will consolidate the growth and continue to embed the outstanding culture of the organisation whilst strategically identifying further opportunities into the future.
This critical role will take complete responsibility for the operational management of the organisation and will provide direction and leadership to all Intereach offices and sites across large geographical regions. Working with the values of leadership, partnerships and social justice you will ensure Intereach continues to meet its financial, governance and statutory reporting obligations whilst keeping abreast of the increasingly complex competing reform agendas, variety of funding sources and multiple practice models.
The successful candidate has demonstrated experience as a senior manager of people, resources and finances and is a naturally engaging leader of people focused on accountability and outcomes. The ability to think strategically and implement operationally is critical, as is an understanding of, and empathy for, the challenges of working with small rural communities. You are a visible advocate in the community, at all times operating with integrity and you have solid networks and relationships within the sector. A relevant tertiary qualification and previous Not-for-Profit, Health or Community sector experience will be well regarded, as will an understanding of, or experience in the relevant government department processes and funding arrangements/opportunities.
