About the organisation
The Northern Community Legal Centre Inc (NCLC) was formed through the amalgamation of Broadmeadows and Moreland Community Legal Centres in January 2016. NCLC provides legal services and community legal education to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged people in Melbourne’s north west, and advocates for equal access to justice for all. The organisation has a proud history at the forefront of innovations in family violence service provision in Broadmeadows and surrounding areas. Since 1992 we have provided a duty lawyer service to Broadmeadows Court and held the role of convenor of the Hume Domestic and Family Violence Network since this time.
About the role
Our family violence lawyers appear for victims of family violence in the family violence intervention order list at Broadmeadows Magistrates’ Court and provide advice, casework and community legal education in a range of practice areas, including family law, intervention orders and VOCAT.
This is a full time ongoing position.
Salary range is $65,000 – $70,000 per annum (depending on experience). We offer salary packaging (which means you can claim part of your salary tax free and package for meals and entertainment.)
