UnLtd brings the Australian media, marketing and advertising industry together to tackle a big issue: undoing youth disadvantage.
Disadvantage takes many painful forms. There are over 680,000 kids in this country who suffer the consequences of abuse, neglect, grief, trauma, isolation, mental illness, injustice and homelessness.
As the only philanthropic foundation for our sector, UnLtd connects youth charities with the media, marketing and advertising community.
Many organisations and individuals in this sector have a strong desire to do their bit for disadvantaged youth – while many great (but unknown) charities working with young people at risk are in dire need of funds, media inventory and marketing skills.
UnLtd is the conduit, connecting the two sides and facilitating successful partnerships which result in powerful social outcomes.
About the role
About the Role
The Head of Events will work closely with the CEO to assist in the project management and delivery of events tied to revenue generation and fundraising, in order to deliver an event strategy and annual calendar of events.
The role requires strong interpersonal and organisation skills, a solid corporate background, experience and connections in the media, marketing and advertising industry and the ability to manage, prioritize and deliver across a diverse range of projects.

About your opportunity
We are seeking an engaging and motivated Head of Events to support the calendar of activities for UnLtd.
You will:
• Project manage and activate the UnLtd and partner revenue generating events, which include, but are not limited to the Big Splash Sailing Regatta; Social Impact Conference; organisation-wide fundraising and volunteering events
• Liaise with various stakeholders to ensure events meet internal requirements
• Implement and project manage new revenue initiatives/ events and recruit internal and external support as required
• Establish and maintain revenue reporting and forecasting for events, corporate partnerships and fundraising
• Maintain best practice policies for all events including insurance, policy checks, working with children permits, RSA, safety procedures
