Hireup is an Australian for-purpose start up, run by a small but dedicated team of (big) thinkers, builders and doers dedicated to connecting people with disability and support workers online. The organisation harnesses technology to give people with disability and their families the power to find, hire and manage support workers who fit their needs and share their interests. Hireup is looking for a transformational leader to help secure the organisation’s place as the most trusted disability provider in Australia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design and implement a world class trust framework and build and lead the Trust and Safety team. You’ll combine your innovative vision with an ability to lead and inspire teams to create a proactive, human centred system.

Your ability to build strong relationships will guarantee that Hireup’s systems, strategies and partnerships will remain of the highest quality.
You will be responsible for building Hireup’s Trust and Safety department from the ground up, into a world class business unit and you will develop the organisations overarching trust and safety strategy, covering training systems, risk management, compliance, accreditation and insurance. In the longer term, you will develop and implement systems and processes to ensure a focus on diversity and inclusion, security and privacy, fraud and data security, account security and business processes.
You will have significant management experience working with innovative solutions to complex problems. You will be creative and curious as well as being strategic and driven to delivering excellence.
