About the organisation
Doncare is a not for profit organisation that provides services to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged residents of Manningham and surrounding suburbs.
Doncare supports families and individuals of all ages to access opportunities that will assist them in their daily living and enhance family functioning. Doncare provides high quality services in the areas of Counselling, Information and Crisis Support, Family Violence Services, Family Services, and Social Support for Seniors.
Doncare receives funding from local, State and Federal governments to operate some of its programs but relies heavily on the proceeds of its seven opportunity shops and the support of private donations, philanthropic trusts and the community sector.
About the role
The successful candidate will be a self motivated individual who has the ability and passion to provide leadership, direction and support to staff employed within the Family Violence Programs. We are seeking an individual who wants to make a difference in people’s lives and who is committed to supporting and encouraging effective engagement and support of all Doncare’s programs.
This is a permanent part time position of 22.8 hours per week and will report directly to the Director, Clinical Services.
Doncare has a legal and moral responsibility to ensure the safety of all children in accordance with the Child Safe Standards and expects all staff to commit to this standard and understand their duty of care obligations. Mandatory pre-employment checks will be undertaken prior to commencement and the successful candidate must have or be prepared to obtain and maintain a current Working with Children Check for the State of Victoria prior to employment commencing.
