The Queen Elizabeth Centre (QEC) is currently seeking a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to build on its reputation and evolve the organisation for the future. The CEO will drive best practice health and community services that are high quality and responsive to community needs and aligned to government policy directions.

Reporting to the Board of Management, the CEO will lead the design and implementation of a long-term strategic plan, and oversee an experienced and successful team who provide contemporary and evidenced-based services to the community. Maintaining the QEC’s ethos and values, the CEO will foster strong stakeholder relationships and ensure efficient operational management.

Adopting an innovative and agile approach, the CEO will offer an advanced level of analytical and conceptual thinking and commercial acumen to work with the Board. The successful candidate will have outstanding interpersonal skills, be supportive and collaborative and offer a leadership style that nurtures, challenges and inspires staff. Industry experience across public/ community health or community services is welcomed and relevant tertiary qualifications preferred.
