Community and Corporate Fundraiser

As a Community and Corporate Fundraiser, this role has the opportunity to develop and achieve maximum income from hospital patients, schools, supporter groups, community groups and clubs, companies, events and other third party fundraising. The role will need to actively promote Community Fundraising initiatives with a view to recruit and support participants. The post-holder will be responsible for developing donors and supporters and building a volunteer base to ensure income growth.

This is an important role as this post-holder will proactively work in the community to develop and foster new supporters and fundraising groups, manage supporter relationships, support the St Vincent’s Foundation events calendar and give talks/presentations to local community/businesses. The post-holder will be responsible to promote fundraising activity through online event listing websites, social media, local and national press. Engagement is paramount within this role and the post-holder must be confident with face-to-face contact, telephone, email and mail communication.

The post-holder will be an integral part of the Foundation team and will encourage supporters to enter events and raise money for St Vincent’s Hospital by using third party applications such as Go Fundraise and Everyday Hero. The role also has an opportunity to grow our patient engagement through third party fundraisers and develop a program for our diverse cultural community.
